Hello All,

Im new here and Im looking for some advice and local help on my Jeep.

I have a 93 Wrangler with the old internal style slave cylinder, and it appears that I have a bad hydraulic hose or slave cylinder. I have a new found love of the older YJ jeeps and want to get mine back up and going. Does anyone on here have any experience with these jeeps and performing this external Slave swap? Looking for advice and help..... thanks alot!

I hope thats all I have to do.

The problem is the 93 Model had a year specific part for the hose connecting the master cylinder to the slave cylinder. I spoke to a guy this morning who thinks that the old line can be repaired or I can have another hydraulic line made for it custom.

Get some a/n fittings in it and go braided stainless, it's well worth it

How would the a/n fittings fit to the stock "quick release" style slave?

Switching over to AN fittings makes everything easier. Jegs, Summit or any race shop carries AN braided lines.

Is it possible to switch out bellhousings to one that has a external slave cylinder?
